General duties:

• Attend regular board meetings that occur on a monthly or bi-monthly basis to discuss how to facilitate the mission of Bozeman Actors Theatre (flexibility is granted for attendance, and if you need to attend online at times, that is completely fine)

• Attend Bozeman Actors Theatre Productions and act as company ambassadors when interacting with patrons and donors.

• Volunteer at productions when able (box office, concessions etc), attend/volunteer at fundraising events and any community events when able

Administration:

• Serve the organizations By-laws and practices

• Help ensure policies of effective management

• Assist with the planning of an annual budget, operational plan, and fundraising plan

Qualifications:

• Passion for the a performing arts and Montana communities

• Comfortable communicating with other board members, volunteers and patrons

• Time to devote to board duties, roles, and responsibilities as outlined above.

• Belief in the organization’s values.

• Ability to attend board and planning meetings.

• Open mindedness and commitment to make the best decision for the organization.

• Ability to keep confidential information

• Disclosure of all conflict of interest
